Elka the Dog needs a home


Elka is the sweetest gal you'll ever meet. Her golden eyes are a window to her golden soul. I know it sounds super cheesy, but she wins hearts over in seconds with her friendly nature and trusting attitude. Everyone who meets her says so! She is a victim of circumstance and was given up along with her sister, by her previous owner because of breed specific legislation at new housing. Elka is doing wonders at breaking pittie mix stereotypes. She has been a sweetie to her foster families since her surrender and gets along very well with most other dogs. Her current foster sister is a very energetic 2 1/2 year old pittie mix. She also does well with cats! Elka is gentle when taking treats and will pay attention to you if you give her tugs while on leash. She is a wonderful dog and would love to call your home hers forever!


All SAAP animals are vet checked, UTD on vaccines, spayed/neutered, micro chipped, and given flea and heartworm preventative as age appropriate.
